Title: Movies For Your Consideration Post by: Reg Smeeton on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, 10:51:42 For those of us who are not always persuaded by the cultural hegemony of the US film industry...there is upcoming the Swindon Film Festival

Also liked the movie of it.... Lords of Dogtown Title: Movies For Your Consideration Post by: Simon Pieman on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, 18:48:17 Sin City was OK but hugely over-rated.
It needs to be better or have some proper stripping from the Alba Title: Movies For Your Consideration Post by: Bennett on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, 18:49:40 Quote from: "Reg Smeeton" For those of us who are not always persuaded by the cultural hegemony of the US film industry...there is upcoming the Swindon Film Festival http://www.swindonfilmfestival.co.uk/films.asp i saw a flier for that in the wheatsheaf on sunday...there was nothing there that really made me want to go partake in the fun though Title: Movies For Your Consideration Post by: Dazzza on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, 19:09:59 One I’m looking forward to is Clive Barker’s remake of the original Hellbound Hellraiser one of the greatest British horror films ever made. Still in early development but if he can capture the atmosphere of the original he’ll be onto a winner.
Probably have a gawp at Saw III for the gore and Tarantino and Rodriguez’s Grindhouse. The Libertines looks good, as apparently the debauched Earl of Rochester had some connection with Lydiard. Anything with a Ken Loach input like Tickets, will at least be thought provoking And Soy Cuba sounds like it'll be worth brushing down the old Che Guevara beret for. Title: Movies For Your Consideration Post by: Dazzza on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, 19:14:37 The Libertine is ok, bit long and drawn out though.
Filmed not far away from me and a good friend who does extra work got buggered against a tree. Oh I see it was part of the film....I thought just some random theatrical practice. When I was an extra in Ken Russell's Tommy, I got a free ticket to a Who concert......they played 6 numbers and fucked off. Title: Movies For Your Consideration Post by: Dazzza on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, 19:32:09 Did you make the big screen Reg and any sign of Reed or Nicholson?
I've done a bit myself mostly TV work but it's the most tedious job in the whole world and wasn't worth the pure boredom of sitting around all day. My brother did alright he managed a minor role opposite the lesbo from Brookside and got £250 - £300 a day plus expenses the cunt. No.....apart from a crowd scene....the bird I lived with, got picked out, because she was fit, given a nurse's uniform to dress up in and had to wheel in the deaf, dumb and blind kids. (2007) The film starts six months after the Rage virus has spread throughout the city of London. The United States Army has restored order and is repopulating the quarantined city, when a carrier of the Rage virus enters London and unknowingly re-ignites the spread of the deadly infection, wreaking havoc on the entire population. Sounds shit  Title: Movies For Your Consideration Post by: bigbobjoylove on Wednesday, November 1, 2006, 11:51:15 Quote from: SwindonTartanArmy Quote The United States Army has restored order and is repopulating the quarantined city With yanks?
