Too be honest Im getting so fed up with this fucking club. If we end up taking a step backwards by appointing someone along the lines of Tuttle, Iffy or King, I dont think I will bother going back! :|

As I said earlier I'm certain something is going on doiwn there....if the Board could wheel in someone at the AGM it would divert a lot of flak from them.

Sturrock would be good. Im just getting fed up with something good coming along then getting snatched away only to be replaced by some cheap garbage.

As much as i'd like to see Sturrock become our manager, i doubt he'd be looking for a move to a club, so soon after getting the sack.

Not sure how accurate it is, but someone on MOS said Sturrock was on TalkSport saying he wanted the job.

:Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick: yeah to be fair though i think the presenter mentioned that one though and Iffy said "i wouldn't be surprised if it happened" he reckons the club are really looking at another high profile manager. maybe he knows something?

Give Iffy some respect, he probably does know more than us. But Bryan Robson, seriously? No way.

Frankly I'd rather Williams were permanent than get Robson on board.

I'd sooner us have an unproved manager as opposed to a manager who's proved to be crap at his job.

yes but i didn't say he did a GOOD job did i? tbh it was an impossible job for him. when you realise that you realise he didn't do too badly under the circumstances. i wouldn't have him back though

So?  Ferguson had no experience in England, Wenger had no experience in England, Jose had no experience in England....

Hoddle had no experience, Lou had no experience...

Adrian Boothroyd had no experience...

The list goes on - there are 92 football league clubs.  If all managers had previous experience they'd have an average age of about 105.

Twat.

It is just a temporary thing he is the only one left capable of doing it and there is not enough time to recruit someone before Saturday.

I think Sturrock would be a good shout, even though i can't stand the guy. I suppose Worthington is also available and had experience in the lower leagues before he moved upwards.

Not saying either would be great but you have to look at what's available

If I could pick anyone based on their record I'd go for Sturrock. For his exploits at Plymouth Argyle alone - What he left at Home Park is probably the reason PAFC are a stable Championship team.

very much so. he had a rough time at Southampton but wasn't really given that much of a chance. did wonders for Wednesday too and im surprised they got rid of him. i suppose its all done to whether he wants to drop to this level again and how soon he wants to get back into management. money may also be a factor
