Title: Hotels/pubs Post by: Fred Elliot on Monday, October 23, 2006, 15:13:47 Speak to Ralphy Foggy
He seems to know that area really well Title: Hotels/pubs Post by: Amir on Monday, October 23, 2006, 15:15:37 Stow-on-the-wold is full of pensioners and antique shops. If you are willing to push the boat out, you may as well stay in Woodstock.

Title: Hotels/pubs Post by: Ralphy on Monday, October 23, 2006, 15:19:55 Where you planning on visiting Foggy? Just Blenheim Palace?
Stow is a very nice little town with some old fashioned boozers. Chipping Norton is nice too and just down the road from Blenheim. Depends if he just wants to visit Blenheim Palace? Stow is much nearer the Cotswolds and only a 40 min drive max to Woodstock.
