Ive seen a couple on AT going for £12995 with about 17k on the clock Title: Petrol heads Post by: Ralphy on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 11:00:49 350 Z is a nice car but very, very thirsty due to it's huge 3.5 litre V6 engine.
For £15k you may struggle to get a decent one. Personally i'd look at the Mazda RX8 cos it's cheaper and more fun to drive. Title: Petrol heads Post by: oxford_fan on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 11:07:03 i've lost the fascia to my pioneer stereo, where can i get a replacement?

Having driven several RX8's and normally being used to driving a Vauxhall Corsa I beg to differ..... I never drove a 350Z myself but people who I worked with used to wax lyrical about them.... They sound lush.... (gay word alert). Title: Petrol heads Post by: Ralphy on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 12:24:40 Have you actually driven an RX8 on the road properly Walrus or just parked one?
Title: Petrol heads Post by: Barry Scott on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 12:36:50 The Wankel in the RX-8 is a notoriously unreliable bit of kit after a less than average amount of miles. They say 50k miles and you will start to need major engine work.
I say major, but it's actually not. Components wise it seems major as the Wankel is nothing like a normal engine, but it's no different than having a cambelt change on a traditionally engined motor. Aparently... Saying that people do run them for a long time, so it's probably just tabloid. Oh and never tell any man how big the engine is, unless they're sat in the thing. Title: Petrol heads Post by: Ralphy on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 12:39:14 Well, i'm off for a Wankel, see you later!
Title: Petrol heads Post by: DribblingSissy on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 13:11:35 My mum has an RX8 so i'm afraid that will always be out of the question and labelled as a ladies car!
Anyone seen the new Audi TT?? Is it any good and what kind of price??? Title: Petrol heads Post by: walrus on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 13:16:06 Quote from: "Ralphy" Have you actually driven an RX8 on the road properly Walrus or just parked one? Both.... My job was, among other things, taking cars 7 miles on the public roads and sticking them in tiiiny lanes where they got their doors bashed in. If a customer realised his pride and joy had 14 miles extra on the clock there was hell to pay! Tip: Never use airport parking unless you are parking your own car in the bay. :| Title: Petrol heads Post by: Ralphy on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 15:54:23 I never took my car to Gatwick when i went to Ibiza, took dad's old Renault!
