The NRL (Australian Rugby League for the Philistines out there :wink: ) grand final is on Sunday morning at ~10am My parents do not have Sky Television. Will any pub in Swindon be showing this event? But the problem is more the start time of 10am... Unless a large Antipodean community now exists in Swindon where there wasn't one a few years ago, I doubt any pub will be opening up early to show it. Title: NRL Final sunday morning... Really? I didn't think that AFL was televised by any channel in the UK. The London Walkabouts re-show games 24 hours after they happen, which I believe they download from some website. Anyway, AFL final is on Saturday afternoon ~2pm Australia time... which translates to 4am UK time. Anyone skulling beers at that time is showing true dedication to the cause. |
