Havent really posted much since yesterday as am trying to digest everything thats happened to this club in the last few days.
I stated the day that Andy King left that the best news I had heard was that devlin was back.  I hated Andy King like most fans, mainly because he didnt give a shit about teh fans.  Back came Devlin and from then onwards we have had belief, even when we were relegated.  What has happened over the last 48 hours have shocked me to the core.  I understand from various people I have spoken to that there is a more scenical reason for all this.

I believe that the reason Linda was sacked was due to an argument with sandy gray.  I also believe that wills and holt and co want devlin out.  Like I said this is just what I heard and I have no facts on this.  I am fuming, like spencer etc, that this board again is undermining teh fans, the club and worst of all our existance.  They must be fucking stupid, why do you think the crowds have come back, why has the support been so good! why has the club been able to rekindle links with many businesses through the twon. The answer I believe is Mark Devlin and the work he puts in.

The next step is extremely important for our board of directors, either sort out the mess you have put us in or be prepared for a backlash from the supporters.  I hope they know what they are doing, we have stuck by you through thick and thin but a line must be drawn under all your continual cock ups once and for all.

How sandy gray can still be in the club after forgetting a VAT bill is crazy.  Simple accounting practice should ensure out of every pound you make a certain amount is placed into a VAT account.  Fuck me my mother even could do teh books better.

I hoep we show our voices for the full 90 minutes at notts county to get behind the boys and not this pathetic board of directors.

All these rumours are pissing me off and the fact that one minute our club is doing brilliant and then something happens and the mood just changes completely and that low feeling from last season comes crawling back!However its not the end of the world and I will try and stay positive. I guess its because nothing really good happens at swindon very often, and all of us have been buzzing so far because for once things were going our way.Our start to the season has been terrific and all us fans have been chuffed to bits. One slightly bad set back and we predict things to go down hill rapidly, who knows what will happen from now on. I just hope we can get a good win tomorrow and restore some of that faith. We should be used to all this by now  :D  Its still a pain in the arse though.

Don't forget the current board would have elected Devlin as a non-exec too.

The VAT thing was a royal cock up and is really crap accounting practice. However, SG may just put the figures into a VAT account (rather than set aside a pot). VAT is a creditor, i.e. you don't haveto pay it or need to put money into an account, just the figures. You just need to make sure there is enough in the bank to eventually pay. Sadly even this couldn't be done right.

I noticed there's a Gentlemens night at the club[ok at The Winners] tonight,in theory it sounds ace,with blokes sat around in smoking jackets drinking brandy and discussing politics 8) Sadly i don't think it'll be like that,especially if Bushey boy is going!

I've had a pretty stressful week. Went to cornwall to see my dying step-grandad, come back, Bill Powers decided to pull out and it looks like devlin's going too. All a bit gay if you ask me.

 There's a meeting for fans at the old Railway Museum on Wednesday FB....open to all.  I think if you play your cards righrt some of those nice trust people will buy you beer just for turning up.
