Im not much of a golf fan so this may sound like a stupid question, but what does it mean in the scores when it says that S Garcia/
JM Olazabal won 3&2 yesterday?

Is that like in cricket then when they end the day due to bad light or something? Do Europe still get all 3 points for it?

They've been steaming today. Garcia is fooking awesome. and Woods/Furyk are 3 down! HA!

If we can go 3 more points up this morning then we're 4 points up with 16 points to play for. C'mon the Europe!

Johnson looks good for the Yanks...

hes always amazing in the ryder cup

i knew he'd be as good as our best player but what i really love about sergio is his attitude - he takes such pleasure in seeing his team-mates do well; see his reaction when monty sank the last shot of the 1st day

i know it's cheesy but darren clarke is a legend. i thought before this tournament he should have won sports personality of the year but now i definitely think he's the man for it. anyone who can bury their wife a month ago and still have the bottle to play so well and help us to a great victory has gotta be worth something

In order to make the Ryder Cup a bit more competitive,  should the American team be expanded to include Canadians,.

Hang on fella's we had to endure year after year of defeats before we got the europeans on board.  We've only won 3 on the run at teh moment, let's leave it as it is for a while, until the yanks spit the dummy!

I agree with expanding the American team.

It should now be Europe Vs Rest Of The World.
They could include Goosen, Els & Singh to balance it out.

I wouldn't go that far.....but Els  Goosen and Singh are also European tour members, so could qualify for our side.

So why don't they play for Europe?

I think that would make the competition much more interesting.
We have given them a right pasting the last couple of tournaments, so I think adding Els, Goosen and Singh to the Americans would certainly make it more interesting.

Bizarrely on  5Live, they just said that Sandy Lyle has suggested including Canadians, to make it more  competitive. Lyle wsas a vice captain in ireland
