i am in my first season with swindon, unbeaten in 10 games so far, got knocked out of the cup by man city, but in fairness i souldnt have been in that round as i got beat my yeovil in pen in the previous round but still go put through. quick question, which is the best patch to get, i searched the net and there is loads, how have people got brez in their team? is that through a patch or editor? pm me or sumat, cheers. ordinarily i'd chastisise you for posting something again, but seeing as i meant to reply earlier this has reminded me. whatcha need is a patch, the one i've got is from here (http://www.fmformation.net/showthread.php?s=493b0a309afd3a1383b045defe6803aa&t=10453). it should be pretty up-to-date for swindon as yours truly provided the information. make sure you download the 6.03 patch from the sigames.com website too. Either the Patch or the data editor has fucked up my FM06, it wont open up. I have tried reinstalling it, when trying to mount in with deamon tools it does nothing, im stuck with out it. I guess i could do out and buy the game, or wait till the new one, but my life is pointless without it. Are you using the image or a no-cd patch? I can upload the patch for you if you want and there is a way to change the registry to trick fm to thinking it's an earlier version (but you still have the 6.0.3 updates). That's what I had to do because my fm decided it didn't want to work after applying that patch. If it works it's all gravy, if not you'll need to do the following: Go to start>run> and type in 'regedit' and press enter. First back up the registry. Do this by going to the file menu and clicking on export. Choose a save location (this is incase the registry gets fucked up so you can restore it to its previous state. This will mean there's no risk to doing the next stage). Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER>software>sports interactive>football manager 2006 Right click on version 63 or 6.0.3 and rename to version 6.0.2.
