anybody else got a cat? Mine (Wycliffe) is driving me mad by waking me up at 4 for breakfast every day. Can't shut him out as he makes a racket, so what do you do?

just chuck it out at night to have a scrap with next doors cat. then when he comes back in the morning he will be too tired to eat anyway

Lock it in the garage. Let it back in on your terms and at your preferred time. It'll get used to it.

tried feeding him before he goes to kip - je just eats more. fat f*cker. how much do you feed yours? ours has dry minging stuff in the morning, wet food at night.

the dry stff swells up, wet stuff doesn't....so feed him the dry stuff before 'bed' and it'll bloat him a treat!

Ive got two, took thE kitten to vets today and it turns out its male, cant really call it tilly now!

I usually leave a massive bowl of biscuits down and fill it up before bed - works for me

Mine eats anything. last night he had frsh pasta filled with carbonara - my leftovers. he licks everything clean - nutbag... will try and leave stuff out for him tonight then, little shitbag.

The cat is obviously after attention, if you ignore it it will eventually get the hint.  Will be annoying for a while but will work.  If you are gonna get up and feed it each time it is going to keep doing it isn't it. cats aren't stupid.

We have two young cats, before we had catflaps one of them was a right cunt, playing up just because he was bored and wanted attention or some food.
Now they can come and go as they please, and they're fine.

And, i'm pretty sure our next door neighbour still feeds them.
They don't have any cats, but I saw her walking into her house the other day with a shit load of cat food. They put food down for other cats in the neighbourhood.
Does anyone think that's a bit weird?
I have already pulled her up on it, and she said she would stop feeding them, but I think she still is.
They only eat measured amounts of dry food, but they are both getting fatter, so we have bought some low fat food.

i liked them until i had to look after them for a week.

They don't really need that much looking after. That's the beauty of cats.
just feed them and give them some water and you're done.
No fucking about walking them every day, picking up shit everywhere, bathing them, etc.

Theres wild cats where I work in centerparcs.They are well scary and they stink of piss.

Shut up sade, that was obviously supposed to be taste. I'm allergic to cats, or used to be when I was younger. I tend to avoid them now a days. I'd give cat a try though.

My housemate's just got a 6 week old kitten. Sleeps downstairs in the lounge with the door shut so avoids the scratching on bedroom doors at 4am. The kitten that is, not my housemate, obviously.

Learn't this trick after the fucker we had on loan for the six months previously did just that.
