Title: Lateish nighty thread. Post by: flammableBen on Sunday, September 17, 2006, 23:06:01 Had a bit of a shit day myself. Watched (ish, more paper reading) the two games down the pub. Could only afford 2 pints after yesterday's extravagance (£67 I fucking spent) and it was all a bit dull.
As I was nearly home my mum phoned me and said that my step-granddad has had a stroke today. He's on his way out anyway but it's still not nice. He's stable tonight but he can't speak without mixing up words. I feel a bit numb in my head, earlier on my mum was upset and I consciously held back the tears but now I just feel horrible and numb. The worst bit is he's a clever bloke and I don't like thinking of him stuck in a hospital bed with his mind detatched from his body like it is. There's a massive risk of him having another stroke in the next few days but a big part of me hope's he dies instead of having a long drawn out jobby; not being able to talk or have full control. Anyhoo, not the normal thing to write on an internet forum but I had to say something to someone. Just needed to write stuff. Bennett's trying to talk to me on msn the racist cunt.
