I remember my first game in the TE.

0-0 against Wolves. Last minute free-kick infront of the dugouts. Walters long ball, Onuora with the header.

1-0

Thankyou!

Remember it well. That was a Boxing Day match - Robbie Keane was up front for Wolves that day.

I remember seeing the goal come up on 'Soccer Saturday' at about five to five. I went mental.

Wally is probably the best Masters player around.

I have to say, they are really scraping the barrel with a lot of the players though, they need a lot more big names IMO.

Sounds about right! I was only young so my memory fails me on that kind of detail!

That Wolves game was hilarious, because they battered us for 90 mins and we scored an awful bundled goal in the last minute to win 1-0. If my memory serves me right Wolves had Tumuri Ketsbaia (sp?) up front and he missed a hatful.

Walters was a legend.  Bit predictable with the stepovers though, or a they called Lollipops nowadays??

You may have found them predictable, but to my memory not many full backs did!

I remember Walters heading towards the goal, I turned to my dad and said watch this... Needless to say Walters struck the ball into the goal from distance. I was a smug 14 year old at that moment!

Sadly that was against Stevenage Borough  :?

and we lost that game. Was blowing an absolute gale and Walters' goal was wind-assisted, but a corker nonetheless

Yep, I remember sitting in the Nationwide... watching Fraser Digby kick the ball out and the wind takes it back to Grazioli who puts it away with ease. Nevermind eh.

I don't think I've been to a Swindon game since with my dad! He goes to Chippenham Town these days.

So your dad supports Chippenham, your missus city and you town.  That could make for some lively meal times.

It certainly could... My brothers support Man Utd, Arsenal and erm Blackburn - I'm the only Town fan.

It's me against the world!

Yeah, and limped off 2 mins later, having pulled a hamstring executing the chip!
