0-0 against Wolves. Last minute free-kick infront of the dugouts. Walters long ball, Onuora with the header. 1-0 Thankyou! Title: Mark Walters Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Monday, September 4, 2006, 07:38:24 I remember seeing the goal come up on 'Soccer Saturday' at about five to five. I went mental.
Wally is probably the best Masters player around. I have to say, they are really scraping the barrel with a lot of the players though, they need a lot more big names IMO. Title: Mark Walters Post by: hansgruber on Monday, September 4, 2006, 14:12:41 That Wolves game was hilarious, because they battered us for 90 mins and we scored an awful bundled goal in the last minute to win 1-0. If my memory serves me right Wolves had Tumuri Ketsbaia (sp?) up front and he missed a hatful.
Title: Mark Walters Post by: TheKingCY on Monday, September 4, 2006, 14:15:36 Walters was a legend. Bit predictable with the stepovers though, or a they called Lollipops nowadays??

Title: Mark Walters Post by: Rich Pullen on Monday, September 4, 2006, 14:40:35 I remember Walters heading towards the goal, I turned to my dad and said watch this... Needless to say Walters struck the ball into the goal from distance. I was a smug 14 year old at that moment!
Sadly that was against Stevenage Borough :? Title: Mark Walters Post by: hansgruber on Monday, September 4, 2006, 14:43:01 and we lost that game. Was blowing an absolute gale and Walters' goal was wind-assisted, but a corker nonetheless

Nevermind eh. I don't think I've been to a Swindon game since with my dad! He goes to Chippenham Town these days. Title: Mark Walters Post by: Doore on Monday, September 4, 2006, 14:47:33 So your dad supports Chippenham, your missus city and you town. That could make for some lively meal times.

Title: Mark Walters Post by: DMR on Monday, September 4, 2006, 18:55:16 Finest Wally moment- he scored a nuts chip against Bolton (I think) at the Stratton Bank.
