even so, if he signed tomorrow it'd take him a month to reach match fitness at which point there will only be 30 odd league games left. wise is keen on squad rotation, so i'd be surprised if he played every game until the end of the season even if he was fully fit and injury free. The rumour started getting major press on the 28th July. It's dragged out but it's good that it's coming to an end.
