lots of things are stupid at football....including the way we sing pointless chants about kicking tommy mooneys head in.....BUT I like singing along to the we are going up ones, we had such a shit season last season and now have two legends in charge of our team and we have won every single game this season - if now itsnt the time to sing and shout out about it and make the most of it when is?

I get your point. We could easily finish mid-table. But I have to say as an away fan when teams have sung that it is certainly intimidating as you feel like underdogs and feel small

We are going to have to learn a Slovak chant for Petr though, he hasn't got a cluw when he's being praised bless him, although he did eventually twig that his surname was being sung at one point without twigging to give a wave (maybe the TE could have all just waved to show what we wanted?)

I'm just saying, when people sing "we are goin up" it's a bit stupid as we could just finish mid table or even go down. Hopefully we will go up, probably will.

Couldn't disagree more. OK so we don't want to get too overexcited at this stage but surely you'd rather here this type of banter than no singing at all? Either way, I'm sure the players love it. Keep it up I say - I just hope it keeps going even if we hit the inevitable - but not obligatory - sticky patch.
