Anyone been reading about the Nigerian FA laugh which said he was 26 not 21? Theres a bit in todays Sun aswell, apparently it nearly stopped any talks between newcastle united and they asked for his 10million value to be lowered. martins has said he will not play for nigeria again. Also there is no way that Freddie adu is a young as he is. The problem is that there records of births in these countries is non existant. In south africa all the local league players have to have ID cards which are checked before every game to make sure that there are no over aged ringers in there. :(

Ibrihama Bakayoko, the former Everton striker was another beleived to be older than he was claiming. Didnt hear about Taribo West tho? How old is he actually suppose to be? Maybe this is why he peaked at the age of around 23-24 and ended up bouncing from club to club by 30.

This seemed normal as he didnt look much older and had no reason to lie whatso ever, however one day we found his passport and discovered he was really 32! And he was shit at football
