Post by: Sippo on Wednesday, February 9, 2005, 16:16:46
Currently on O2 but they won't give me a free upgrade so may look into changing networks - not a happy chappy.

Which is best and what phone is good. The V3 looks good as does the new samsung...

Any idea's?

tbh networks will always piss you off at some stage. just threaten you'll leave the network if they won't give you a free upgrade

Why won't they give you a free upgrade?  I get a free upgrade every year but you have to have been on the contract for 12 months

Cheers mate!!!

Pieman's right. They'll give me a free upgrade but not the phone I want! Just find it Diabolical that they can give a phone away for free but want to charge me even tho my tariff is more aswell!!!

I have had O2 for the last 3 years, and apart from the customer services line being a tad rubbish i have always found them ok!

Most people i know are on O2, so calls are free/cheap too.

I pay £30 i think. it gets me 500 free minutes any time any network, 100 free txts and a Sony Ericsson K700i.  Was triple minutes and texts for the first 3 months too i believe.

I'm on Vodafone, never had a problem with them whatsoever and their coverage is superb. I've got a Samsung D500 and it's lovely, got it for £15 from Phones4U. Go in and haggle.
