Remember it was the first game of the season so I suppose most pitches should look prestine at the moment. If it still looks anywhere near as good come Feb time then they'll have done a good job - as I understand it the pitch is built on the same foundations as our play-off season? Due to funding unless I'm mistaken? If so, then I expect it to last, but as I say any pitch at the start of the season should look good.
