Title: James Bond Post by: Doore on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 11:36:34 I'm sure many of you will agree that James Bond is the coolest film character ever. Last night in the pub a mate challenged me to name all twenty Bond films up to but not including Casino Royale. Its harder than it sounds, without internet cheating etc. Try it next time you are in the pub. Took us quite a while. Honestly, its more fun than it sounds.

Title: James Bond Post by: Ginginho on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 12:21:48 Wow, you and your friends must have had a wild night.
I don't like James Bond films. If you've seen one, you've seen them all. Bond almost gets killed, Bond saves World, Bond gets girl.... Just for once, I would love to see the cunt die. Yawn.
Title: James Bond Post by: Nomoreheroes on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 12:31:35 Technically speaking 'Casino Royale' should be included in the list as the 'original' was made in 1967. See below:
http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0061452/ NMH Title: James Bond Post by: Doore on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 12:33:46 Thats a fair old point NMH. Does this mean that David Niven should appear in any debate about the best James Bond actor? (Not that he's win, obviously.)
Title: James Bond Post by: Gazza's Fat Mate on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 13:06:49 James bond is silly.
Title: James Bond Post by: Northern Red on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 13:34:16 David Niven was never a Bond and Casino Royale was not a bond film (in my book anyway) :x
I'm reserving judgement on whether to accept Daniel Craig as a Bond yet as well.... Title: James Bond Post by: Reg Smeeton on Friday, August 11, 2006, 10:20:04 In case you don't know....which I'm sure you do Ian Fleming is buried in the churchyard at Sevenhampton....which if you doon't know, but I'm sure you do is betwixt Swindon and Highworth.
Not a lot to see really, other than a gravestone with a bit of an inscription.....I quite like a good graveyard. Title: James Bond Post by: jim on Friday, August 11, 2006, 10:38:43 I have never watched a JB film and I never will.

Mainly for Jaws and the brilliant theme tune. Oh and the eye-candy. The Russian agent bird ended up marrying Ringo Starr I believe.

Title: James Bond Post by: flammableBen on Friday, May 2, 2008, 00:10:08 My problem with Bond Trivia is that I can never remember the actresses for the bond girls. Which tends to be the pub quiz questions.

I know what you mean, me and few mates were bored once and were in toys r us and bought the scene it interactive DVD board game - James Bond addition and its really good, but questions like that come up....name the actress....and the actresses names are something that dont stick as the large majority come into the Bond films unknown.....only few I can remember are Ursella Andress, Honor Blackman? Maud Adams, Halle Berry and Denise Richards! Title: James Bond Post by: flammableBen on Friday, May 2, 2008, 00:17:05 You agree that Goldfinger is the best bond film yeah?

Title: James Bond Post by: flammableBen on Friday, May 2, 2008, 00:26:38 I only got it because you'd already listed her in the post above. I nearly checked on imdb, but I figured my bond knowledge would be just as justified if I got it wrong, so I guessed.
If I get a few options on the actresses in bond films, I can probably guess. But if you ask me the name of the actress for the main Bond interest in a random film, say Liscence to Kill, then I couldn't tell you. Title: James Bond Post by: DV on Friday, May 2, 2008, 00:32:56 license to kill, neither could I.....
although I think she might be the one married to richard gere Title: James Bond Post by: flammableBen on Friday, May 2, 2008, 00:38:02 Could be..
I'm pretty good at remembering connecting bits of information. Like what I said before with the Spy Who Loved Me bird and Ringo Star. I struggle to remember individual facts though. But generally that's not a problem. Unless I'm trying to keep hold of something which I have no relation too in my mind. Which shouldn't happen very often. Unfortunately I drink too much. Which means I can only make the connections which hit. And I don't make enough connections any more. Either way, memory and intelligence and wisdom are all about connecting memories together, which I'm amazing at, if only I could remember more.... Title: James Bond Post by: Sippo on Friday, May 2, 2008, 07:13:18 I wish Bond was killed off or even severly injured...
