For my sins I still haven't seen the footage of Brownlie's goal.

I was hoping the Official Site would've had the highlights up by now.

Yeah it's taking ages today.

I saw it on SSN earlier, they said they had highlights from League One then showed Brownlies goal..? Then in the highlights we were in the League One section. Nice to know they are optimistic about our chances this season!

I think the Football League Review is on tomorrow at 7 (?) so if you're lcuky enough to access to SS1 then, well, youcan see it there if nowhere else.

Title: Brownlie's goal!
Post by: Supercake2 on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 21:47:26
someone behind me said ''aah that's crap' so i though i wont miss much.

other than that i watched the whole game. i'l find a highlight somewhere, i celebrated even though i didnt see it. my flag untied itself after that.

someone probably saw me, tall, blonde hair. the steward was just about to grab me to stop me doing it and then she got crowded out.  :)

With the Shakes goal it worries me that when Roberts lays it off to Shakes both Peacock and Monkhouse go with it and we end up with 3 players moving for the same ball - Monkhouse should have remained central  and Peacock should have peeled off left to pull defenders away and to cover the 'shot' had it suddenly become a 'cross'.

Only a Swindon fan would complain about how we scored a goal.

Saw Brownlie's goal on TV last night. Though it looked good I don't think the TV pictures did it justice. Seemed far better live.

Did anyone notice that Roberts ignored all of the players celebrating and ran straight to Dennis Wise. He must really appreciate the faith and trust that his new Manager has in him.

May it long continue!!

Apparently Dennis Wise is Christian Roberts' son

Or is it the other way round :?
