Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: my-velocity on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 11:36:23 I think there'll be about 8,000 - 9,000 which'll be good for the club. We won last night with 7,000 fans watching which is always good as it'll attract more people to go to the next match.
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: townendjim on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 12:04:44 i think it will be 7,500 again
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: RobertT on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 12:16:30 given it's a Saturday on the back of 2 wins at the start of the season I can see another 500 making their way along to have a sniff.
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: DerbyRed on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 12:32:34 Agree with Rob - I'd say it'll be around the 8,000 mark.
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 12:46:28 8000 hopefully. it's great to see people coming back through the turnstiles again
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Frigby Daser on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 13:11:59 Had to fear the worst at 1-0 down to Barnet didn't you...it was'big crowd/ticket promotion' syndrome all over again.
Hopefully saturday we can put a classy performance in to match the classy goals! Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: janaage on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 13:48:15 8,500
Nice little earner. Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: sonic youth on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 15:42:42 rochdale will probably bring less than barnet, so i'd say around 7,500 again
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: reeves4england on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 15:57:01 I will go for 8000 as well
This game could be the one where the team flops in true Swindon style though! Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Tails on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 16:17:52 Rochdale have really bad away crowds, they'll bring 150 max.
I'm gonna go for 7,700. Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Luci on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 16:19:00 I'm going for 9,000 plus........only to be optimistic mind.
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Tails on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 16:21:27 Quote from: "STFCLady" I'm going for 9,000 plus........only to be optimistic mind. Very optimistic!! Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Dazzza on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 16:33:35 What's the old magic break even figure on the gate this season, anyone?
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: SwindonStevo on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 17:16:57 probably 5,500
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Dorset Red on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 18:19:39 I reckon 7,900 for Saturday. Midweek games normally have slightly lower attendances than weekend games and Barnet didn't bring that many with them. I reckon there will be a slight increase even if Rochdale don't bring much support.
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Spencer_White on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 18:26:39 Midweek games tend to be worse than saturdays mainly because of the away support, but Rochdale wont bring hardly any. On the home support, midweeks are usually pretty good, because so many lads seem to want to play 3pm on a saturday. Never really understood it myself, park football at age 22/23 isnt going anywhere, its just an team park football, so might as well play on the sunday. So many jobs make employees work on saturdays as well now. Hate it.
7000 for me. Which is still tremendous when you consider that under King in 03-04 we didnt get 7000 home crowds until well into the promotion push. Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Kinky Tom on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 18:31:40 I'm sure it'll be 8000+, if so many people could hear the cheering outside in their gardens then there'll be a few intrigued and will come along, also many Swindon fans live outside the town so are more likely to make weekend matches.
Just hope the extras don't all piss off again once we have a blip. Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Arriba on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 18:33:43 i reckon around the same as yesterday 7500 ish

We've had a great start to this season and I hope it continues. Lets hope we can turn the county ground into a fortress, a feared away visit from all the other league 2 clubs
I'll say 7,950. Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: McLovin on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 10:58:43 I hope it's a big one. I also hope that they don't run out of Bovril that Sade is going to buy me.
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Sade on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 11:04:22 The bovril I'm going to chuck over your head ? :P
I'm too skint. Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Milmo on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 11:09:37 Will some fans afford to go to 2 games in a week?
Anything above 7,000 will do me! Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Ralphy on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 11:24:38 I remember back in 92-93 season when 8,000 was a low gate!
17,000 against Newcastle was pure ace. Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Ralphy on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 11:39:12 Looking at these league one fixtures, i think we'll have a bigger gate than most of these clubs let alone league 2!
League 1 15:00 Blackpool - Rotherham 15:00 Bradford - Gillingham 15:00 Brighton - Brentford 15:00 Cheltenham - Port Vale 15:00 Chesterfield - Millwall 15:00 Doncaster - Tranmere 15:00 Huddersfield - Bristol City 15:00 Leyton Orient - Bournemth 15:00 N'hampton - Nottm Forest 15:00 Oldham - Swansea 15:00 Scunthorpe - Crewe 15:00 Yeovil - Carlisle Northampton vs Forest will be a sell out whatever that is? Huddersfield vs Shitheads will be 12-14 k Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: red macca on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 12:04:43 ticket guy just told my other mate he reckons easily 7500 depending how many turn up on the day etc
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Batch on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 12:08:32 An 8k crowd would be amazing given our relagation.
Don't think we will maintain it if we go on a bad run, but even so..... Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 12:28:10 no i dont think that either Batch. but if we keep winning we could get towards the 10,000 mark! fuck me did i say 10,000?
Title: Attendence Saturday Post by: mr ian on Thursday, August 10, 2006, 12:46:38 yeah 8k would be very goood
