Tonight wasnt his best but definitely worth keeping hold of.

It makes me laugh then when he tackles he always seems to turn around and apologise to the player he has challenged!

Bear in mind that we've got Roycie as the reserve striker, then Lukas, Ashan, Caton.....

Do we need him?

It's useful to have that different option. Although after 3 months I think Wisey will choose to start bringing Lukas into the fray and Fola will be finding a new club.

Roycie, Fola and Lucas yes............Ashan....no not yet and Wise has not played him in striking role anyway.....  Caton......needs more time.

Good point - I forgot Fola's on a 3 month contract - unless he makes an impact he's gone anyway....

The 3 month contract offer was a good move IMO. Shows a bit more sense than handing out 12 month or more contracts left right and centre.

Yeah he came on as sub........definitely has a lot of potential.

he looked ace in pre-season, came on tonight and looked totally bewildered. proper rabbit in the headlights style

Go easy on the boy! If you make an impact in ten minutes its rarely because you've played particularly well, but because you've pulled something out of the bag like Royce did tonight.

One thing I could tell from the ten mins he got is that he's not ging to be one to lump it up to...for a tall bloke he isn't half weak in the air. will be interesting to see how he pans out...different dimension isn't he..literally

I don't know how anyon can judge him either way on pre-season and ten minutes as sub.  The jury surely has to still be out on this one.

Seems to me a player we can bring on for the last 15 minutes to run at knackered defenders.  Last night we hoofed it at him and he didn't do too well with that.

Can't base any opinion off of 10 minutes of hoof.

I think Wise should start him against Brentford in the JPC. Give a full 90 minutes to the guy.

I think he's used as a sort of secret weapon. Last 20 minutes or so Wise puts him on and he adds something different to the team. He is a pacey player and very very tall.

but he lost that in the second half he never went for the ball n left wingers wide open and got everyone eles to do the dirty work

i've seen him in all the pre-season games he's played - except the games in ibiza - so i'd say it's far easier to judge him over the course of a few games, even if they are non-competitive, than a 10 minute substitute appearance.

   I think it could be a winner especially on a cold terrace at Accrington in Feb or similar....bit of dancing is good for the endorphins.

It's quality. I would make one small amendment:

"Do the Onibuje
And you turn around"

I have simply deleted 'Fola' and it all fits in perfectly!
