pitch is going to be very different for this game i'd have thought, not as fast, not as much bounce so it'll be interesting to see if the wickets come as easily this time round. i'm sure pakistan will up their game as well...

Akhtar isn't playing in this test, hes scheduled to play for Berkswell in Birmingham League on Saturday, who have Dom Ostler playing for them as captain. Not that fond of them though, bunch of tossers

You never quite know what you'll get at Headingley, if a Test at all, traditionally, its been a seamers paradise, so England have won games with the likes of Steve Watkin and Neil Mallendar getting wickets.....in which case Jon Lewis should start.

abut 215 seconds in. Listening on tms loved aggers commentary on the dismissal. I think it was an elephant trying to hurdle. I think Chris read was scared for his life when inzi topled over.

:Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick: Poor old inzi, probabaly the best dismissal ever

There's still a test match left.....going into the Oval with a series in the bag is a bit of a luxury.....it could be an ideal opportunity to maybe have a look at someone like Stuart Broad......maybe give Hoggy a rest? What do you think?

Think a day of not realising you're getting old is enough......Stuart is indeed Chris's son.

reg you've taken that straight out of ian botham's mouth. if hoggy is carrying a niggle then yeah i agree but if he isn't then you can't change it particularly as hoggy isn't really going to get burnt out cos he doesn't play odis.

broad will be a fucking gun though - his run up and action are superb
