I only know the older games. System Shock 2 scares the crap out of me. Even if the graphics are a bit shit now.

i never paid £2k for it. £550 refurb from www.mcscom.co.uk
the machine is only 3 months old as on Dell website the tag says it was built in April. only thing changed is a new proccessor.

My favourite PC game is Max Payne.
It's not "shit your pants" scary, but a great 1st person shoot 'em up.
I don't play that many games on my PC though.

Nothing will beat the GTA games though in my opinion.
I have just finished Liberty City Stories, and will probably go back and play GTA 3 or Vice City again. while waiting impatiently for the next GTA game to be released.

system spec was
Dell XPS 600
P4 3.6
250gig HD
2048 ram
Geforce 7300le 512meg graphics.
Nforce 4 sli motherboard

all for £550

Dual Core is exactly what it says on the tin - 2 processors, only they're linked so they work together. It doesn't mean you get quite the performance of 2 processors though, only about 80% extra compared to a single core.

When I build my machine I'm also going to link up 2 graphics cards through SLI 8)

If you get someone to build your pc or do it yourself you can get that spec much cheaper than £2k, and if not go to MESH for good deals on brand new machines.
