Still if they'd put it at 6pm or 7pm, then 36 league games would not have to be moved... Common Sense needs to prevail...

Would not suggest that anybody leaves @ 4.30. Going North on the M5 & M6 on a Friday afternoon is a nightmare. Would suggest that you leave at 2:30pm and get off M6 @ JUNCTION 10A and cut accross country from there.

as chris (not you) has just said, lady went to get hers and the bloke in the ticket office said it was pay on he day. i expect they were just trying to keep queues to a minimum.

i'm not 100% sure i can make it, finances are still as tight as a scot.

Ditto - Driving will be utter hell

Leave at about 12 and have a wander around Chester, it's a really nice place especially if its nice and sunny - there's a beer garden by the river which is superb, but can't remember its name......

Alan: [Still choking] I?ll be your friend [he forces a smile].
Jed: Oh, great. Will you come and see my brother-in-law next weekend?
Alan: I?d love to.
Jed: Bet you can?t guess where he lives.
Alan: Erm?
Jed: Go on, have a guess.
Alan: Er, Nottingham?
Jed: No.
Alan: Oh. Er? [Jed tightens his grasp, Alan?s voice gets higher] Chester?
Jed: Where?
Alan [Speaking with great difficulty] Ches ? Chester. Near north Wales off the M56.
Jed: No, Leeds!
Alan: Oh, Leeds.
