On the flip side I can't see Wycombe being the team they were up until March last season and Lincoln may struggle to continue their form of the past few years. Title: Hereford... Without wishing tp push the point...after the first difficult season, we finished safely mid table or better in L1 with Daisy in the side....a good pro and squad man. Once he left we evinced all the professionalism of a bag of cement and got relegated......coincidence? Title: Hereford... Post by: OOH! No, more related to loss of players over a 12 month period, the reduction in the wage bill year on year, the employment of suspect talent and the general decline in the club from top to bottom for at least 18 months. I don't think having Duke in the side would have helped us stay up last season. Having Parkin may have saved us though. Title: Hereford... Title: Hereford... Post by: Doore on Thursday, July 27, 2006, 11:34:02 I actually thought that Duke was very por when he first signed, but steadily improves. I thought he was solid in his last season here, and would have been happy for him to stay. Was always annoyed on the occasions he got booed as well.
