do you reckon they've just given the 'big' players shirt numbers so people can get them on the back of the home shirt when it comes out at the weekend  :?

Seems odd to do it, when we are still [hopefully] planning to signed at least 3 or 4 more players...plus to omit some players as well...

wise is a clever bloke .if he gave himself a shirt number now people like pook would think thats it im fucked i wont be playing(not a bad thing i know)

anyway he might not play and let ince play instead :D

Why has Weston got 23?

I'm not sure its correct, but when you're playing Football Manager and you're asked to give your squad numbers, you have to give a minimum of 16 numbers - if thats right then maybe thats what Town have done and all the other players can just be added to our squad list when needed!  :D

bizarre that we've announced so few squad numbers, don't understand that at all! especially considering wise said he'd have a first team squad of 20 players!

mind you, if we sign the three triallists and this big name player we've got a squad of 20.

This means nothing, because they haven't even allocated Phil Smith a number- I know he hasn't signed a contract yet. I think its jsut football league rules that the club have to submit a squad before a certain date.

Last year we had white letters and numbers with a gold outline on the home shirt.

The away shirt had blue letters and numbers with gold trim.

both white with the gold id imagine.

If INCE joins us he will almost certainly be given the number 8 shirt - I think Dennis and Gus couldn't give a hoot what number they give themselves, they don't strike me as being that chirlish....
