It's basically like the Betamax v VHS thing but with DVDs. Title: DVD burning Post by: pauld on Friday, July 14, 2006, 00:23:46 I thought more DVD players could read -R but I may have made that up. One thing I do know is that having your youngest smear yoghurt all over the top of the DVD player severely reduces its capacity to read anything.

But I'm guessing magic has checked that out otherwise he wouldn't have bothered with getting both (or maybe he's a muppet) :o  Title: DVD burning Post by: magicroundabout on Friday, July 14, 2006, 08:05:07 Quote from: "simon pieman" No that's right Paul, on both accounts. Mainly with the + is you can burn layers but with the - you can't. so i read. also my dvd player plays almost anything you put in it so i should be ok. my first films to burn will Superman Returns (clip looks excellent) and Ice Age 2. 8) Title: DVD burning Post by: Batch on Friday, July 14, 2006, 08:35:48 Quote from: "magicroundabout" yeah i checked it out. thats why i got 25 of each.
