and their 2 players were all over him just before the bollock-crushing. recalling the replays the ref doesn't seem to be giving a card until rooney touched ronaldo, bizarre. I think the worst of the punishment was being sent off for that particular game. Compared to some bans, this one wasn't as harsh as I thought it would be.
Personally, I think a yellow would have surficed, but considering he got the red he could have been banned for more games than 2.
