it was from 1980 .. SHeff Wed won 2-1 . it was just before the Wolves semi final match i couldnt believe how different the ground looked .. even the stratton bank ... funny thing is I started going not long after that in the next season when I arrived here from London did anyone else see it? Wish they would bring things like that out on DVD; I would buy them if they did. I was at that game 16,500 in the CG....a lot of Wendies and shed loads of trouble....a mate got hospitalised by an iron bar to the head. We had a good side but not a big enough squad and came up short because of so many key games in a short space of time. The legendary Terry Curran bagged a brace for them....think he may have been the Wendies cult hero on Football Focus a season or so back. No recall of that being on MotD....but probably didn't bother watching as we lost and stayed in the pub.....don't think vids existed in 80.
