Both teams were shit, but for the sake of the world cup, the better team went through.

England played negative football when it came to playing the better teams.

Lennon hasn't underperformed, our player of the tournament I think even though he only played for an hour and a bit. Hopefully he will get longer in the future.

I don't think this shows we aren't that good, we lost on penalties in the quarter finals to one of the best teams in it, despite outplaying them with 10 men.

I was very very gutted last night, but going out and having lots of booze made me feel better..................until that song 'Altogether' now came on in the bar :(  :(  :(

I felt we played very well, we gave them a bloody good game even with 10 men. After last nights performance and determination I felt we could go all the way after 90 mins,but obviously it just was not meant to be.
