Got my tickets for the sabres v the gladiators at taunton on tuesday. taking the day off 6th form for it..

on sky by ther way, 5pm start, game starts at 5.30pm

im also going to the northants twenty on july 5th and off to bristol to watch sabres v gladiators again, can't remember the date though.

I Watch the last two finals day on tv and it is just breathtaking how the game of twenty20 has evolved

I'd agree Mex,for me the ebb and flow of a test match or a four day game is much more rewarding and interesting than a bash it about 20-20 or even odi game.But it has helped encourage more people to go and watch County Cricket,thats a good thing surely?

I wasnt expecting anything from the 20/20. But then I wasnt expecting to get hammered every 3 days. Middlesex fans dont really give a toss either, need some more critical support. We need little Eddy Joyce back, then we can mount a challenge for the national league. But we seem to be slow starters for every series.

the reason we didnt get through was a combination of things. goodwin had to take a week off for personal reasons and he is a best batsmen by far.

however the fact that everybody played middlesex twice except us really fucked it, yes sorry larwood middlesex were that bad and it put us at a disadvantage playing them only once.

sort out the fixtures for fucks sake so everyone is on an even keel.

Not really. If every game that we played went down to the last over, and we lost every time then i wouldn't be happy. Likewise, if swindon lost every game 5-4 this season, it would be entertaining, but no-one would be too happy about the results.

sussex's own fault for not beating other side's. as i said before in previous year's in the b&h and twenty20 the west group had the best 3 one day sides in it and also somerset who reached two one dya finals in that time.

twenty20 is about getting fans into cricket so in that sense the league system is totally fair because fans can logistically get to every game their county plays in
