We're in White shirts, they're in red i believe. I think we're changing to the second strip for Sweden though

Thanks....Just watched the end of the Ecuador game. If we qualify (I never count chickens) then looks as if we're gonna have a difficult tie against either Germany of Ecuador. Neither are a push over !

NMH

P.S. The ESPN2 commentators here say that the Ecuador vs Germany game will be a battle as noone wants to play England in the next round.

I don't fear either teams. We are clearly better than both by a mile. We'll have to face harder teams to win it. I want the Krauts though revenge will be sweet and i'll be pissed if we end up not playing them!

Germany are on a roll, have the fans behind them and are really pushing to score. They're shit at the back, but unless we play more like the last 30mins of the T&T game, we'll be dicked.

Actually, I think Germany are playing just like they did against us when we beat them 5-1 to qualify last time.  Committing plenty forward but leaving themselves open to a half decent attack carving them up at times.  If you watch that game we had less possession and chances but Germany just left it so open for us to attack them when we had the chance.

Holland looked scared shitless of anyone with pace today as well, and dropped into a team of 3 forwards and 7 defenders in the second half to compensate at times.

the difference is they actually have confidence and can create chances and actually score from them.  something we just haven't been doing

I believe that we will create many more chances against european teams though. And the Germans are gunna feel the full force of our superior midfield!

We created 25 chances against T&T (that's just the shots on and off target) and scored 2 goals.  Even a slight improvement in scoring ratio would see a dramatic change.

Germany are the only team to have created more at that point (26 against Poland, from which they scored 1).
