Title: Laptop Post by: hansgruber on Wednesday, June 14, 2006, 19:40:42 Looking to buy my Dad a laptop (because he's nice!) any tips on where to get one from/what to look for etc. Ideally looking to spend around £600-£700. He won't need anything fancy, just for t'internet and Word/Excel and that. Would be nice if it was quite shiny too!

You might want to get a laptop that has more memory if the graphics card is integrated (this nicks memory to do the graphics) or get a laptop with a separate graphics card.
