Harford's on holiday til tomorrow though isn't he. *That's why he's unavailable. He'll be joining us next week* * All text marked *....* is bollocks. Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Simon Pieman on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 13:20:27 here's another article

Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Reg Smeeton on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 13:21:42 Still got a contract thing to sort out with Forest.
As speculated elsewhere probably means everybody bumps up one Reeeeves to Assistant manager presumably....Woan or Iffy get the stiffs. etc. Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: janaage on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 13:23:02 Oh fuck.
Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Simon Pieman on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 13:29:37 what if harford isn't coming in but somebody else is?

I mean what Reggie said, not if we played Oxford in div 4.
Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: McLovin on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 14:10:31 Is the possibility of King stays manager, Harford becomes assistant not on the cards then?
Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Reg Smeeton on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 14:21:08 It may be on the cards in the longer term, but ideally we want someone to come in now and apply some motivation, discipline and up to date coaching methods to the bunch of slackers that represent our club.
I suppose Woan might have something up his sleeve. Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Melksham Red on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 15:01:50 I'd like to see Woan given a chance as assistant if we can't afford anyone else. Especially after seeing the way he knocked in those penalties on saturday. That was class, every one of them in the top corner.
He has played at every level, so must know a thing or two about coaching. When Harford has sorted his Forest severance package he'll be first choice to join King. Walsh parted company by mutual consent is on the official site. Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: janaage on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 15:13:20 And in the meantime, who knows how our stumble towards the play offs will pan out.
Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Simon Pieman on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 15:15:01 i think as long as king doesn't go (which he won't) our stumble will continue in the same manner
Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Piemonte on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 15:16:44 stumble seems to be the correct word

Another thing that I will say is that I am not going to move to Director of Football for anyone, let me make that clear."
It's even worse than we could have expected, we've got rid of an assistant manager with no plans to bring in a new one and giving a couple of people with NO coaching experience whatsoever, let alone any qualifications, to coach the first team. At least Iffy has some of the coaching badges. Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: janaage on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 15:40:51 That's an understatement MrYouth. This is a fucking shit state of affairs to be in.
Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 15:46:36 Read Woan's interview:
"It is a short term arrangement until a replacement for Mike Walsh can be found and I will then be happy to return to my role as Youth Team coach." King simply says he is not looking for a replacement just yet, possibly just waiting till Harford has sorted things out with Forest. It's not worse than we could have expected, Reeves could easily have been taking over as manager. :jaw2 Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Johno on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 16:00:46 come on lads... be positive! never gounna get anywhere if we go on and on.
so King will stay in charge as manager, support the team! it could be worse very easily. Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Boeta on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 16:20:14 For fucks sake, why did we need these pre-announcemet statements as a prelude to sacking Walsh?!
Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: DMR on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 18:35:24 more fucking crap from the board
Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Dazzza on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 18:45:17 Well I'm guessing something has cocked up.
There was no need for the pre-announcement and it appears that Mr Reeves was none the wiser (see today’s adver article) when the announcement was made. I wonder what prompted King to depart company with Walsh? Don’t get me wrong I like Reeves but it does strike me as odd that that King would prefer a relatively inexperienced man to someone he selected ahead of him during the summer. It won’t do anything to effect King’s position. If anything after all of the hype it’s probably deteriorated even further. Title: WALSH GONE......HARFORD NOT AVAILABLE Post by: Reg Smeeton on Thursday, February 3, 2005, 18:58:26 I would assume if King had been sounding out Harford, then Walsh will have known his time was up, and not much point in hanging around if as stated he was on a month by month contract.
