Title: High people
Post by: Sade on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, 11:08:56
:D  I had a job not to laugh at college today.

Theres a guy that always comes in and hes rather scary, I've come to the conclusion that he is on drugs but I don't really know because maybe he's just a happy person?
Anyway he came into college wearing a england football kit, complete with football boots and knee high socks and an england shirt
Bless him. He sits at the computer singing with head phones on too and he does little jigs. Its like he's in a world of his own.

Thats it really. I'm never taking drugs though.

:D  He's funny yeovil. I'm sure he's on drugs though.

Lob and cockie -   I'll have you know theres nothing wrong with my town. Ok we have the couple of freaks and inbreds but what town doesnt? Most of us can use computers too, use me for example 8)

I've wrote a letter to westbury council complaining about the crap shops and the numerous amount of take aways and charity shops that do not benefit my town at all  :D

What you on about Sade? Charity shops are fucking ace.

Yes some of them are. I like going in there occasionally and seeing what bargs you can get BUT theres about 7 in Westbury and I'm not exagerating. Theres no need for it when we have no decent clothes shops or anything. Everythings so fecking skank  :x God knows how many take aways there are and people moan about fatties.

I know your pain Sade, the lads will never understand :-))( You really can't find nice clothes in Charity shops lads.
Westbury sounds a bit like Didcot [i hope for your sake its not though  :)  ] Although we do now have some decent shops, like New Look and Next, there is even a Woolies now [i'm panting with excitement now  ]

:D  We don't even have that!! I'm sure didcot is loads better. Westbury town centre is quite small, but the rest of the town is just houses. Theres some crappy clothes shop called 'expressions' its quite nice clothes but poor quality and all the sizes are messed up. I'd love just one nice shop here. A new look or a select or a mk one or even a peacocks! Its full of crappy newsagents too. I'm definately moving when I'm older.

I work in Next and can guarantee that Next is not a decent shop.   :|

I let rip with a follow thru and used one of the t-shirts to wipe off residue, before replacing it in the stockroom....

The point is is that in terms of what was in Didcot before Next is a decent shop,we have four womens clothes shops now, before the recent shopping development we had one ffs.Sure it would be nice if House of Fraser or M&S moved in but this is Didcot its not likely to happen [snigger] :(

i must admit that after visiting your lovely town centre for the first time on thursday, it is pretty dire. the charity shops are terrible, although one of them had some decent vinyl.

i can personally vouch that cancer research uk in abingdon is far better, only quality stuff gets sold there.

I went in the air ambulance charity shop in westbury once and was nearly sick. The stench was something else. A mixture of bodily fluids, hospitals, potatoes and old people. A bit strange.

I like next perfume, its vey nice. Although I think the womens clothes can be slightly grannyish, well the one in bath is. I don't really own much brand labelled stuff really, partly because I don't see the point in buying a t-shirt for £50 in a surf shop when I can get one for a tenner in New look  :D  I think all I own label wise is a bench t-shirt that is second hand but still in good condition, an elle cardigan, a river island hand bag  8)  The rest is just from your average shops although I do splash out alot on perfume.

I could sit here all day talking abut shops but I think that could get boring.

Shopping = my pet hate.

Shopping with my missus for clothes is the worst. I've now learned to stand in the middle of the store, arms out acting like a clothes hanger. Otherwise I'll be trapsing round the place several times, looking at the same stuff time and time again. OMFG, why don't you just go in the week on your own/with a friend and save me the torture and let me enjoy my weekends. My credit card gets hammered either way.

Grocery shopping comes a very close second.....

But don't let me stop you talking about shopping Sade, there isn't much else of interest on here right now.

8)  ok well, if you insist. I just got most of my holiday shopping in asda george. 2 Bikinis, a skirt, pair of flip flops, a lellow brazil tank top thing and a pair of sunglasses - all just over £20 - Now how good is that. I love asda george clothes. Did I forget to mention that my mum paid for most of it.
