We should bring him in, he was great when he played for us. And that goal against Shitty was great :D

mcdermott was average, good goal against city though.

it probably didn't help that he kept getting shifted around position wise

He wanted to go back to Fulham believeing his stint here would put him in the 1st team frame.  Not good enough, part of a poor team.  If we are going to bring people in they must improve what we have.  Anyway, it'll be a while now before anyone comes in unless they are a friend of Wise.

Id definitely agree with that.

The gap between L1 and L2 is minimal, DV mentioned this in another thread that we were beaten several times by clubs in league two.  We need a stronger squad than last season.....just to stay up let alone get back into league 1.

fair point but i thought he was a pretty good player in league one anyways and wouldnt have minded signing him if we stayed up.

He werent the best player we've had but you could see he put the effort in whenever he played for us.

he had some good games, and he had some bad games....but always seemed very slow.

Though he did alright out on the right....

Remember his two goals well, esp Oldham away when we went two up we all rushed down to the front. McDermott was looking right at me and vice versa when he was celebrating, despite not being our player you could see how much it actually meant to him....and the fact we were all going fucking mental in the away end right in front of him made it even sweeter....
