Title: Jenkins in todays adver Post by: Spencer_White on Friday, May 12, 2006, 18:51:15 Good to see a senior player taking some responsibility in the Adver today, thinking ahead about whats best for the team.
We desperately need our senior pro's Jenks, Peacock, Paul Smith to provide that extra leadership off the pitch. Our team looked like a bunch of schoolboys for the 1st 6 months of this season. Quite right, and is perhaps the only good thing that can be said for signing up onto contract players who clearly are nowhere near good enough to be playing league football. We have to hope the stability reaps a dividend of at least basically competent performances.
