Title: Now We Have a Little Bit Of Money To Spend.... Post by: PHIL!!!! on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, 17:45:15 Why not search for a few star players in the conference? Surely they would not be that expensive and therefore the player himself would not demand to much money a week.....
A few players i know of, who could do a job in the higher leagues are: Micheal Twiss - Midfielder/Striker, former Man United Youth. Currently playing for Morecambe and is highly rated by their fans. Also scores a fair few as well as assits. Darryl Clare - Striker. Last i heard was that he was playing for Crawley Town? Former Chester player. Goalscorer. Andy Bishop - Striker. Currently at York City and is the top scorer in the Conference too. Whether he could do a job in League Two, is a different matter however....Worth a gamble? Well Bill Power did say he will not allow Iffy to spend thousands of pounds on a player, but if Iffy feels a bit of money needs to be spent on a specific player, he would allow it.
