Up to 10 Tottenham 1st team have suffered through the night with food poisining, they have called the police in as it was claimed it was delibarately poisened by some one! intresting to see what team they play!!

Also Van Nistelrooy was put on the bench today so he left old trafford and went home, prob played his last Man Utd game

They've more or less got a full side out bar the already injured Mido & King.

The Ruud thing had been on the cards for a while, not surprised.

2-1 to West Ham, doubtless they would have won if the team hadn't been decimated by sabotage. Apparently Aaron Lennon was sick, Carrick had to substituted and Edgar Davids wanted to come off but couldn't.

Davids is shit anyway just ask any Spurs fan who goes to the games. He's just there to pick up the bumper pay cheque.

Not the point though. It's a real shame we've been denied a fair conclusion to the premiership season.

Still a superb season from Spurs, when most thought they had absolutely no chance of challenging for a champions league spot (apart from me), to miss out on the last game in very suspicious circumstances has to be considered very impressive and with a young squad there's no reason why they can't improve further next year. Great to see them in the uefa cup at least.

The simple answer and it should be pretty obvious is Yes I fucking am. I mean for fucks sake I've been to 300 or more Swindon games over the last 15 years. Not living in England, not having a car and not having much money there's no way I can get to many games whilst I'm at uni but I go during the holidays.

Most people on here seem to follow the premiership to some extent. I don't follow it with that much interest but if there's no other games on I'll watch it.

Think UEFA Cup is good for Spurs...can get some European football and maybe build on that.....although they'll probably need  to increase the squad size again, as Boro have shown you can end up playing a lot of games....to the detriment of the league campaign.

It's true I've probably posted a lot less about Swindon this year, just because I've found this season very depressing.  I used to read all the posts about Swindon but I don't anymore because there's too much to read and it's not much fun reading arguments about which player is the most shit. Hopefully we'll turn the corner soon and they'll be less depressing stuff to read and I should be able to go to more games next year.

Crouch seems to get discussed a lot and seeing as I've followed his career for a while yeah I post about him, I don't post much about Mickey though, it's not like i start topics about him every few days, Chelsea tend to get discussed all the time anyway. Yeah I post about high contrast a lot but I know him quite well and he's a top bloke. Sorry.

What I don't understand is all the talk about Spurs not getting the Champs League spot if they finished 4th (which they haven't) and if Arsenal won the Champions League. I thought UEFA changed this rule after last season (Liverpool), or at least set a precedent. Not that it matters much now though.

I got it, it's just highly unlikely that there's any Jewish players in the currant squad, nor was it very funny.

You mean if someone were to poison Arsenal on the eve of their champions league game then it would probably be fully deserved. That's true.

That incident just made Wenger look like even more of a twat than usual. It was clear from the replay that neither Jol or the Spurs players saw it so it was a perfectly fine goal and Wenger moaning about it was just sour grapes.

Even tho Sky Sports news proved conclusively that Jol DID see the incident and told his players to "PLAY PLAY!" ..

Bollocks. They weren't badly injured anyway so there wasn't any need to stop, they should just be more careful.

They both tried to foul Carrick and got each other. Spurs were perfectly entitled to play on IMO.

On the food poisoning thingy, I find it strange how they could even run for 5 mins if it really was food poisoning.  That completely wipes you out for several days and would have lead to players throwing up every 2 mins on the pitch as they'd be having to take on a shit load of water.

Comments on the game and the highlights hardly suggest a team of players suffering from food poisoning.  Plus it takes a number of hours to really kick in, so they'd be at the peak of clearig it out for the game, but Jol kept the same team.

Spurs' "food poisoning" sounds a lot more like the way most blokes have "flu" every time their nose starts running. But "we've got slightly icky tummies" might not have sounded as good a reason to try and get the game called off!

It doesn't at all as Paul Robinson, Stephen Kelly, Anthony Gardner and Jermain Defoe were the only players who weren't sick. The rest of the player were clearly not well and that's what cost them the three points and 4th place in the premiership. All highly suspicious.

So in excess of 20 players were sick?  Not what they originally claimed.  The Prem also said they couldn't call it off as they had enough fit players in the squad, so seems they actually meant just out of my first XI.  It also seems to have changed to a possible case of food poisoning now.

The symptoms just don't hold up for proper food poisoning, if you ever experienced it.  As people like Pleat and Crooks have mentioned, it seems more like a bug and it's just one of those things.

Whether it's proper food poisoning is not really the issue. Several players were clearly ill and it cost them three points. Every reason to expect foul play.

If it was food poisoning what would the chances be of any of them getting out of bed let alone into a Spurs kit playing against West Ham.
