That will be a good away game to go to next season, all of our fans on the terraces singing away!  :D

If we got them first game of the season, I expect it would of on tv would'nt it as its their first game in the football league.

Thanks Sade. I'll probably go, although i'm not sure how many tickets would be available. I'm sure loads of us would want to make the pilgrimage to the Stanley, could see us taking 500+ there

i'll definitely be at accrington regardless of when it is, but an august awayday up there would be lovely.

i want the first game of the season to be at home this year

Yeah I agree sonic. Bristol rovers at home would be quite good, don't know whether their fans would fil the bank up though. They might do if its a nice day.

I've never been to cheltenham so I expect we'll be going there. Watch the dodgy wall at the front though  :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick:

Pretty crappy ground however will easily outsing Cheltenham fans as their fan base is made up of OAP's and young children....

(Providing Cheltenham don't go up!!!)

Yeah thats true. Cheltenham used to be our 'boobie team' never used to beat them. Lets hope we can put that right!

Out of interrest why are you looking forward to Barnet?  If the scum stay up I'd be happy to see them go.....crap ground difficultish to get to, and I don't see the point in them.

Similarly I'd like Hereford.....but not Grays Athletiic, up from the Conference.

   Dartford Tunnel is it?

It might be Halifax...they've become a bit of a yo yo club between league and Conference, which is different...20 years since we last played them, Charlie Henry scored a hat trick at the Shay.

He's still there, but doesn't seem to have played since early March, probably injured.

Shame as I was hoping he'd put a couple of nails in the scum's coffin a couple of weeks ago.

:D  I can't help but think that some of these away games are going to be so fun!
Most of them are terracing, which I expect the majority of fans prefer as it adds that bit of spice to the atmosphere! The grounds arent as bad as everyone thinks they are either. I think of it as an opportunity to visit new grounds and new places, a change of scenery if you like. But one season is enough, I'd like to see us back in league 1 in a couple of seasons time.

Bring it on!

8)  We'll definately be the best set of away supporters in that league - just look at this season. We're going to rock those grounds.

Not after our miserable start to the season under Iffy, we'll be lucky to take 50 away to places like Rochdale.

The last time accrington was in league 2 they got relegated as oxford came up from the conference. Now accrington are up, oxford are going down. Freaky  :D

Accrington is the black pudding capital of the Northwest. When I was a callow youth, my Dad used to bring us home black puddings from when he had to call on customers in Accrington and they were boss. Not sure if they do them at half-time, mind!

Bury market is considered the black pudding capital of England......you'll soon need an identity card to buy a ring.

Next season will hopefully provide an opportunity to compare and contrast the relative merits of the Bury v Accrington boudin noir....I say hopefully as Bury may get relegated..

Since the loss of Palmer's in Market Street, can't get a decent black pudding in Swindon for love or money.

Fry up? Never!!
The famous "Bury" should be boiled and served with English mustard.
