trash the place for me if he did, larwood. although i doubt a morrissey gig is going to get too rowdy, unless someone starts throwing steak around. i expect a full knicker-moistening report from larwood tomorrow Title: The charming man Post by: Reg Smeeton on Monday, May 1, 2006, 22:03:09 i once saw Siouxie and the Banshees in Ally Pally....it was cavernous, run down and fucking freezing.
Title: The charming man Post by: larwood on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, 11:10:19 It was as i expected utterly amazing  ,it was such a privilege to be in the same room as the great man let alone to be that close. My emotions veered between being on the verge of tears,over-joyed smiling and opened mouthed admiration. It was like FUCKING HELL,ITS MOZZER!!!!!!
He was moving around throwing all his shapes singing in his gorgeous voice whipping his microphone lead, just like he does everytime i've seen him on tv or dvd :D It was an utter joy.Obviously i adore his records but seeing him live was even better, the man belongs on a stage,he just oozes charisma. Most of the set was from Ringleader,he played a few from You are the quarry, and he played Still ill,Girlfriend in a coma and How soon is now which was special :D The one problem with it was he had to finish early because of the Bank holiday so he only played for 75 minutes or so :( A small thing though, just to see his face caught in the spotlights, his quiff, his shirt tied up revealing a bit of his belly, his hand movements during At last i am born, his comments,Ciao to a fan as they disappeared over the crash barrier.Just an absolute joy from begining to end,i am so lucky :D Title: The charming man Post by: sonic youth on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, 11:26:11 i'm jealous, you seeing him again then?
he played last night i dreamt... when i saw him 8) Title: The charming man Post by: Mexicano Rojo on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, 11:42:00 nice one, i saw the smiths at goldiggers many years ago, fucking awesome. last time i saw morrissey was in brum at the nec not the arena one of the halls supported by gallon drunk. the bloke is fantatsic on stage only matched in charisma stakes by weller and ian brown.
