I've bought alot of films recently that I'd never seen before. The Machinist, Europa and Goodbye Lenin are probably my favourites so far. Really enjoyed Memento as well. Title: Sonic Post by: Amir on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, 21:08:46 Ooh! And Fargo and The Brotherhood of The Wolf
Title: Sonic Post by: Bennett on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, 21:11:24 some cunt has my copy of the machinist.

not watched much lately, ive been a bit lazy. ive got a few dvds to watch but not got round to it. crash was ok, better than i expected. the godfather part ii was quality, just took me a little time to reflect on it. hitchhikers guide was pretty decent. watched barton fink in film a few weeks back, great film, thoroughly recommend it if you haven't seen it. best film ive seen lately is a cock & bull story, starring steve coogan and rob brydon. it's a film about making a film, very good. wanted to go and see glastonbury, romance and cigarettes and three burials this week but my mate's gone awol cos she's useless. shooting dogs is at the phoenix next week, definitely want to see that. Title: Sonic Post by: Amir on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, 21:21:22 Quote from: "sonicyouth" watched barton fink in film a few weeks back, great film, thoroughly recommend it if you haven't seen it. Thought about buying that because it's Coen brother's film the same as Fargo, instead I opted for The Man Who Wasn't There which I've not watched yet. Cock & Bull Story sounds interesting. Crash I've ummed and aaahed over more than once yet never bought, and I'd get Hitchhiker's Guide but Mos Def as Ford Prefect!!! Title: Sonic Post by: Sussex on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, 21:28:33 Thought Fargo was a bit wierd, enjoyable enough, but didn't realise there was such an undercurrent of stuff going on until I watched the extras.
Still haven't got round to watching Amelie yet either  Title: Sonic Post by: sonicyouth on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, 21:30:29 watch amelie with birdy, you can be a romantic for once in your life
i avoided hitchhikers for ages because i couldnt get my head around mos def being ford, but it didn't bother me really Title: Sonic Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, 21:33:49 I've got a lot of time for Mos Def personally. At least he isn't ,making film about gettin' rich and dyin' tryin' y'all he' me yo
Title: Sonic Post by: sonicyouth on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, 21:37:07 i like his music but his acting is diabolical, just look at the remake of the italian job. he should have been strung up for that alone.
Title: Sonic Post by: Amir on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, 21:37:40 The TV show left an indelible mark on my brain I'm afraid, and I can't see past that.
