I'm starting this thread early (Or late, which ever way you look at it) because i will be off to Swansea tomorrow morning, and generally wanted a say on the game, before hand.

I feel if we start with a reasonable team and with a 442 formation, i generally feel we can get all three points if we put our minds to it. A point would'nt be a bad days work niether, but we are capable of coming away with all three.

I personally hope Iffy sticks to 442, like i say, and puts someone like Migs or Platt, in at centre back with Seano, as, don't get me wrong, i think Ifil is a great tackler, but we cannot afford to make mistakes.
Bring Shakes into the first team for sure, as his pace and presence will be a bonus.
Take along that young striker, Jutskiwitz (Sp) and possibly bring him on in the final 10-15 minutes to see what he can do?
The rest of the team should be kept the same, in my opinion. Maybe put Jenkins in at right back?

Anyway, COME ON TOWN! YOU CAN DO IT!  8)

I think I heard Cureton has a niggle.  It would be harsh to drop Cureton just for a poor penalty (in fairness it was piss poor), or maybe Iffy is thinking Curo may be more effective coming off the bench.  It'll be interesting see how McPhee can do on his full debut.  Sounds like Vieira is having a good game, involved in plenty, though I'm not sure about the formation/Smith at centre back.  Nicholas seems to be doing a good job....

Just got home from the game (I live in Swansea). Nice to see a little bit of effort tonight, and they knocked the ball around really well.

Brown was good, as was Evans, Seano and Nicho. Struggled when Peacock went off with nobody to hold the ball up front. If he's injured, we may well be truly buggered.

Trundle missed a hatful and their second had a slight whiff of offside (although I was up the other end).

Fallon was very quiet.

Iffy seems quite a forward thinking chap in his approach but it’s like trying to build the Tower of London with plastacine.

Perhaps he could benefit from an old goat of a number two by his side but by the same token it’s got to be someone who’s not sniffing under his desk and by the same measure has a bit about them.

The club approached Don Howe a few years back before Coppell arrived someone like that would be an ideal mould.  Even good old Crozzer would be a welcome return to the fold.

It is a tad depressing listening to that tonight.  Swansea used to be my old Champ Man team for years.  Taken on for the challenge and one day working up to the Town post.  Lord how things have changed.

Got back from Swansea earlier (Stayed at a mates aunties house).
We werent all that bad. Passed the ball well and we looked good on the break. We defended well too, but the first half showed that the lads were playing for a draw.
I can't fuckin believe the ref did not award the penalty! It was a blatent handball! That decision cost us the game, as at 2-0 up, i felt we would have been home and dry as our overall play was good.

Good support from the Town! And we totally out sung Swansea, which was good.

Ah well, role on saturday  :D
