Looks like everythings turned rosy for them. I know it does not help us, but I for one am pleased for them. Their performance at CG showed spirit and a will to survive. We should take note ! I really thought they'd go out when the club announced that they didnt want people to donate to the trust anymore, instead they should donate straight to the club. Seemed as though they were preparing for bankruptcy and just wanted money to give to its creditors. Title: Rotherham Saved ! Post by: Dazzza on Friday, March 24, 2006, 15:50:48 Made up for the club and its fans.
Bit dubious about the way they played the existence card to the public and creditors instead of going into administration to provide the protection and time to organise the takeover and restructure. Glass houses and all but it seems the FA are potentially going to further punish the clubs that actually need protection from aggressive creditors while others like Rotherham are going to sail so close to the wind to avoid the points deduction that they’re hedging their bets so much on deals coming through that they are making the situation even worse. I blame bloody Leicester personally. If a club cannot pay its players or creditors then the FA should send a task force in before administration, provide back up and verify the situation to avoid the piss takers taking advantage. In fact it should be compulsory that every club in the country should have an FA representative on it’s board. Title: Rotherham Saved !
