while on about Jamie Cox, he was a quality batsmen and bought alot of success to Somerset such as the c and g trophy...averaged 40 which is pretty good aswell! He was a bit crap in his last season which was a shame but overall, was a quality captain!! long live the Cox. Title: Well Done Jamie Cox Post by: yeo on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 19:05:20 Indeed good on him.

Cox certainly restored a bit of purpose and pride to the Cidermen, for a couple of summers. As briefly did Graeme Smith....shame that the huge increase in international cricket means that we can't get these fellas for longer now. Title: Well Done Jamie Cox Post by: Johno on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 19:12:02 yeh i know its shocking. we got 2 young aussies which is alright, both spin though so...who knows what will happen there as we need fast bowlers!
Smithy couldn't promise a whole season so they didn't bother which is a shame as he looked quality when i watched him at taunton a few times. Boxing dude ive never heard of, and boxing i dont like...but he better get gold!
