Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: Dazzza on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 18:06:27 I think you have to know this one to appreciate it ..
Now... where did I put my Diagouraga? (Iffy Scans the surrounding area for his Diagouraga) [Kiora Kid]"He's too orangy for crows. Still I will reserve judgement untill ive seen him play. Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: flammableBen on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 18:49:37 If it's just a desperation signing then at least iffy's managed to hit the ace name criteria. It used to always work on old champ managers anyway.
Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: fatbury on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 19:22:13 18 year old isnt going to get us out of the mire Iffy !!! :|

None of those came into a relegation dog fight though did they? Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: sonicyouth on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 20:04:06 no but that's not really the point. they're not all 18 years old either.
i was suggesting that whilst they may be inexperienced players, their age does not neccesarily mean they're not going to help us stay up. it worries me that so many write players off before they even kick a ball, sometimes even sign. Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: Tails on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 20:04:09 Sounds like a promising player to me.
Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: yeo on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 20:11:05 Well I suppose we will see wont we.

Spot On. In Euro 2004, we were placing pretty much all our hopes on an 18 year old, (Correct me if I am wrong) and when he got injured against Portugal we struggled and went out of the tournament. slightly different thing though surely. Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: McLovin on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 20:20:13 While i understand what you are all saying, I still think both of todays signings are purely to fool us into thinking that Iffy was doing something to keep us up. I don't remember many young players with virtually no experience dropping down into a relegation fight and dragging their temporary team mates out of the mire. They could both end up great players one day, but i dont think for one minute that they are our saviours.
Oh well...! Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: strooood on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 20:36:43 another brother onboard :beers:
although he was voted 4th ugliest man in europe behind martin keown, steve ogrizovic and dave m russell. he puts pretty niggaz like myself to shame. Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: lumpimynci on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 20:43:33 I'm a bit confused.
I could understand people being critical of "desperation signings" in different circumstances. However the last time I looked at the table, about 2 0'clock this afternoon, the situation did look a bit fucking desperate, so I would have thought signings like this would be sort of expected. It's the arse end of the season, the transfer windows shut, clubs are hanging on to their more experienced players in case they need them, experienced players that are surplus to requirements are looking to go to clcubs in a decent position that might be able to offer them a reasonable contract in the summer......surprise suprise there's not a fucking huge numberer of decent players queueing up to join a club that's in a relegation fight second from bottom, and doesn't have a pot to piss in. And that is way to long to be a single sentence. Sorry Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: fatbury on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 21:12:18 Dave my point too .. the other young players we had didnt have to try and keep us up .. has this bloke EVER played a league game? I sadly think we are doomed .. not all Iffys fault .. but id like a fresh start next season .. which means no Iffy .. no Reeves and no Woan ..

I just hope that tonight the team play like they've got something to prove, cos if they play like Saturday we're in deep shit! Title: Toumani Diagouraga Post by: DV on Tuesday, April 11, 2006, 16:20:41 Poor mans Sissoko sounds fine to me, rather that than a poor mans Hewlett....
