I agree our fans were amazing one again today. I knew we would be taking alot to yeovil, but never did I think it would be so many that there would be people waiting at the front that could'nt find anywhere to stand! It was mad. But it made the atmosphere so much better.

I heard yeovil sing about twice! and a trumpet. The kids in the corner with their honkers were pretty loud though  :D  Who are ya, Who are ya, Who are ya! That was funny.

I was stood to the right hand side of the goal quite near the end. The bloke behind me was so funny, kept taking the piss out of the stewards. that one looks like my garden knome!' 'yeh the white rasta woman down there'  :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick:

The helicopter thing was pretty cool before the game! I enjoyed that!

Those guys were right infront of me 8)
It got quite depressing after a while. They sounded a bit like carol singers. One of the blokes was completely out of it and was stood up asleep but he was still singing under his breath :D

:x Damn all of you who were singing about playing the pox next season. Booooo.

Its so hard to make noise without a roof though, thats the problem. Plenty of us were singing at times but it's just not the same.

Atleast the red and white stuff must have looked quite good before the game. Yeovil must have wondered what the  hell was happening!

As RFE says, no roof = no noise.

I had an enjoyable day out though.

From all the away games this year we were shit.  Too many randoms there on sat, when its a hardcore of 150 like doncaster, and huddersfield you get more passion.

In which case I spent the first 45 minutes within a few metres of you.  Got ushered along with the crowds coming in just before kick-off.

A slow

"hel-lo hel-lo, we are the Swindon boys...."

now that's what we need, the way it should be sung!

Post by: Asher on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, 10:46:07
Its starts off with-

eyes wide, skin back tight get you nickers down, we are iffys army were the boys from swindon town, were the boys in red and white and we like to see/have a fight we all follow the swindon, Hel - lo Hel - lo we are te swindon boys......

Love that song

The slow song is good but you all need to be in tune and only go slow for 3/4 times before speeding up

Rob dont know what you look like

totally over packed in on sat

Good job probably, not knowing me.  I think I remember standing behind a few of those lads back in the early 90's at the top of the Stratton Bank.  i might be wrong but I'm sure I spotted 1 or 2 of them.
