I don't know how this will come across, but i'm split in half. I am obviously really pissed off we lost by 7 frickin goals today, but the childish side of me has been laughing. Beast was savage and got sent off, then trevor benjamin scored - who I thought was least likely to score out of everyone!! and then you hear our fans singing 'easy easy easy ' in the back ground  :mrgreen:

Reasons for defeat
Midfield injuries - we needed Smith and Gurney in there today and maybe a third midfielder too - attacking 4-4-2 formation wasnt the right one for the day
Forest were really up for it after the sacking of Megson as were their crowd
Ref - might as well have had a Forest shirt on .. he was VERY VERY one sided
Poor play from the full backs and poor marking at set pieces allowing crosses and corner and then goals to b conceded
It was hard on Rhys who saved as many as he let in and got fouled on more than one occasion .. which led to some bad kicks at the end ( Im hopin he isnt injured for next week!)
The sending off was harsh to say the least ..

Overall ... we need to forget this game .. to be honest the defeat at home was the game we needed to win ..

We need to move on .. and beat the Trannies on Saturday ... certainly need to jig some players around ..

Hopefully CCP will be fit .. Jenks needs to start .. Christian Roberts shud be given a game  (Jarrett was frankly hopeless!) and Big Trev shud be given a go too ...

I did not go but I honestly think that EVERY SINGLE FAN who can prove they went to that game should get a refund of some sort.

Normally I am the one slagging off any idea that might lose the club a tiny amount of money but that was ridiculous and the ones who went up, sang their hearts out and made our club proud despite being 6 goals and 1 man down deserve to be rewarded much more even than ANYBODY who went up to Hartlepool.

The money should preferably come out of the players' wages whether they can afford it or not.
