Broadbent assist. We've somehow become a competent long ball team. Not convinced it's a long term strategy but hey ho, let's think about the long term when we're not playing Sat-Tues every week

In 50 minutes as a striker Broadbent has 1 goal and 2 assists.
Hopefully we can keep hold of him in January.

We’ll see. On what I’ve seen, I’d pick Broadbent over Pitman. Which is moot, because we don’t have any other fit strikers.

And that should have been another assist.

Sir Thomas of the Broadbents is not just a big lump. He's got skills as well.

I gotta agree..  last 15 mins when you are chasing a game fair enough, starting with a CB up front doesn't sit right with me.  I get we a short of bodies, but if you are not going to throw either a youngster or an attacking minded player up there in situations like this then what is the point of having them in and around the squad.

Or in our position you just go with whatever system and players that work which this seems to at the moment. No point playing a youngster if you have a CB that you know will at least do a job up there.
