How could you actually not notice that when fixing it? They must be the civil engineers doing the White Hart roundabout survey work.

TBH I have had decision notices that make considerably less sense than that, they are often riddled with spelling and grammatical errors if nothing else.

Only Fools and Horses first broadcast 40 years ago yesterday. Still great Watched a couple of episodes yesterday. Still funny but some bits haven't aged well (like lots of TV from the 80s).

Only Fools and Horses first broadcast 40 years ago yesterday. Still great It’s been a few years since I went through the box set but there is at least one laugh out loud moment in every episode...

Only Fools and Horses first broadcast 40 years ago yesterday. Still great Had a look at booking theatre tickets for the show, at £118 for a seat in the stalls I thought I’d give it a miss.

Only Fools and Horses first broadcast 40 years ago yesterday. Still great I still watch it regularly and it still makes me laugh out loud, one of the best comedies ever and so superbly cast. Apparently Slater (Jim Broadbent) was originally offered the role of Delboy!

As was Enn Reitel, DJ only got the gig after those two turned it down.

Quite pleased that the Northern Line wasn't the Black Hole of Calcutta experience that it used to be on a Friday afternoon in the good old days.
Not sure what part of face coverings on TFL services are still compulsory that a significant minority don't understand.
Pret a Manger still do good sarnies.

I'm venturing into London tomorrow on the train & tube for the first time since COVID. I'm a little apprehensive.

I'm venturing into London tomorrow on the train & tube for the first time since COVID. I'm a little apprehensive.
I did that last Saturday for the Stevenage game. It was surprising how quickly everything seemed ‘normal’. Especially transiting through the very busy Paddington, Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. The tube trains were surprisingly uncrowded.
