I saw something from a few months back saying he was going through process of obtaining a Jamaican passport to become eligible, so would guess it is something he wants a fair bit.
And fair play to him, to play at full international level is a huge achievement.

You're asking why a player wouldn't want to play internationally?

Is he that desperate to make his debut for Jamaica at his age considering he was born in the U.K. and played for England under 19's

If I were in his shoes I’d jump at the chance. Even just for the one cap so I could say I’d played international football (and so Rich could ask me where it is in years to come) Nationality doesn’t really play a big part in international football anymore.

Realistically at his age and the distance. He’s not going to have a massive international career and probably not likely to get to any major tournaments either.

For STFC - Grant can’t go on forever anyway, so a chance to see what life would be like without him

When Grant goes who is likely to play in his position? Hasn't Reed been playing there reasonably well for the last couple of games which has buggered Grants game up a bit, might be worried at not getting back in if that continues while he is away?

On a wider note, have the FL agreed to release players to play in red zones, I thought both the PL and FL had said no (leading to some whining from FIFA) or has than changed now?

I had in mind to watch it in case he came on, I'll definitely put it on now.  I definitely remember him looking really dangerous, probably in 2016 against England, and thinking, please take him off.  Hopefully he does well.
